Privacy policy
Last updated: 8 October 2026
This policy explains how Luxe Motors ("we", "us" or "our") handles personal information when you visit luxecoatings.com.au, contact us, request a quote, make a booking or submit a Facebook or Instagram lead form.
Information we collect
We collect information reasonably needed to respond to your enquiry and provide vehicle-protection services. This may include:
- Your name, phone number, email address and suburb or service address.
- Your vehicle's make, model, year, condition and relevant photos or registration details when needed for a service.
- Your preferred service, booking timeframe, quote selections and information you include in messages.
- Booking, invoice, payment-status, service and warranty records.
- Technical information associated with website use, such as IP address, browser or device details and pages visited, where collected by our website or its service providers.
Please do not include sensitive information, such as health information or identity documents, in a quote request unless we specifically explain why it is needed.
How we collect information
We usually collect information directly from you through our website enquiry form, phone calls, emails, messages, bookings and in-person discussions. When you submit a Meta instant form, Facebook or Instagram sends us the information you choose to submit; some fields may be prefilled by Meta for you to review.
You can make a general enquiry without providing your full name. If you do not provide the contact or vehicle details needed for a quote or booking, we may be unable to respond or provide the requested service.
How we use information
We use your information to respond to enquiries, recommend services, prepare quotes, contact you about your request, arrange and deliver bookings, process service records and invoices, provide aftercare or warranty support and manage our business. We may also use enquiry and campaign results to assess and improve our services and advertising.
Submitting a quote request allows us to contact you about that request by phone, email or text. It does not automatically subscribe you to unrelated promotional messages. Where we send direct marketing, we do so with consent or as otherwise permitted by applicable law, and provide a way to opt out. You can also ask us to stop marketing communications using the contact details below.
Sharing and service providers
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers where reasonably needed to operate our business, including website hosting, enquiry delivery, email, advertising, booking, payment and professional-advice providers. Our website enquiry form uses FormSubmit to deliver enquiries to our business email. Meta handles Facebook and Instagram lead forms. Connected tools, including Windsor.ai, may process advertising or lead information where used to manage our campaigns.
We may also disclose information with your permission, where required or authorised by law, or to establish or protect legal rights. Information you provide directly to a third-party platform is also subject to that platform's privacy policy.
Overseas processing
Our email, hosting, form-delivery and advertising providers may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries where they operate. Provider locations can vary by service and configuration; we cannot identify every processing country in advance. Contact us if you would like more information about the providers used for your enquiry.
Website technologies
Our website includes third-party content, such as Google review widgets and externally hosted fonts. Your browser may send technical information, including your IP address, to those providers when loading that content. Third-party services may use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies. You can manage cookies through your browser and advertising preferences through the relevant platform. Some features may not work if these technologies are blocked.
Storage, security and retention
We hold information in business email, electronic service and enquiry records, and the systems of the providers used to deliver our services. We take reasonable steps to protect information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access or disclosure, and limit access to those who need it for business purposes. No online system is completely secure.
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for enquiries, services, warranty support and legal or accounting requirements. When it is no longer needed and we are not required to retain it, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
Access, correction and complaints
You can contact us to request access to your personal information, correct inaccurate details, ask about deletion or make a privacy complaint. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will consider your request and explain any legal or practical reason that prevents us from fulfilling it.
For a complaint, please describe your concern and the outcome you are seeking. We will acknowledge it, investigate and aim to respond within 30 days. If more time is needed, we will let you know. If you are dissatisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, which can advise whether it can handle your complaint.
